Holy Mothers at The Pleasance Theatre

8th May 2009, 5:12pm

This brutal, comic play, by the enfant terrible of Austrian contemporary theatre, is finally back on the London stage. Directed by Vanda Butkovic. Erna, Greta and Mariedl, world-weary lavatory cleaners from Austria, conjure a beer-fuelled fantasy world where heated conversations about liver sausage, overflowing toilets, intercourse, and the Pope lead to a gruesome end. Sounds really good!

From Tuesday 5 May - Sunday 10 May 2009, 7.45pm (5.15pm Sunday). To book tickets call 020 7609 1800.

Pleasance Theatre, Carpenters Mews, North Road, London, N7 9EF
